While playing Gta V on my PC, I noticed occasional lag and frequent lag spikes. I opened Afterburner to analyze the performance. Then I found this link: http://gyazo.com/9d34dc8fe29366e3ce571d947f43f2a0. Why isn’t it running smoothly anymore?

I suspect your CPU is likely around 3570k due to your 2GB RAM and the demands of GTA 5, Shadow or Mordor, plus modern games with high textures. It might not just be the RAM alone. I'll check further.

It seems your GPU might be struggling due to the CPU's workload, especially since GTA is known for being CPU-heavy.

Running GTA 5 on an i5 2500K overclocked to 4.2ghz for a few weeks has caused noticeable lag spikes.

It began just now, after 35 to 40 hours of play. That's what I think is odd.
