Hey everyone, I hope you're all doing well. My cousin's PC hasn't been responding lately—no output, no power to the USB ports. I've tried a few fixes: reseating the CPU, reconnecting all PSU cables, testing the RAM, swapping out the GPU, and even using a different PCI-E slot. But nothing seems to help. The CPU fan keeps spinning while the GPU gets hot, but the fans aren't turning on. It's been the same with the replacement GPU I used too. I've also tried a different PCIe slot, but it doesn't seem to matter. I know it might not be the motherboard or power supply issues since a bad PSU usually prevents booting, and the same goes for the motherboard. My cousin really wants to play games, especially Roblox, but he's been having random lag and can't fix it with Windows Key. After turning it off and back on, the problems started again. I'm really stuck and don't want to spend money right now. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Additionally noted that the PC fails to supply power to any USB ports—no RGB illumination detected—and I unplugged and plugged everything back in.
He mainly focuses on Roblox, which means his hardware isn’t very powerful. Don’t be too hard on him. He’s using an AMD FX 6300 Sapphire R7 with 370GB, 4GB RAM, and a GB-970 GPU (the exact model might be unclear).
