I've shared several updates on various topics, but this one is new and I'm facing a problem. My PC gets stuck in a loop, it starts up, displays my MOBO's logo, and then jumps into the Windows lock screen. Once in that screen, it might restart instantly or let me log in only to be interrupted after ten seconds. Sometimes I don't even notice the lock screen before it restarts. This used to happen with less intensity, but now it's constant and happens immediately. I haven't seen any BSODs, and I can enter Windows Safe Mode, which is unusual. At first, I assumed a hardware issue, but the fact I can enter Safe Mode without issues is puzzling. It might be a driver problem. This machine is two years old and has worked fine until my MOBO died about a month ago. Before that, I experienced strange reboots with the new MOBO, but I thought fixing it by disabling XMP in BIOS resolved the issue. Now, without any recent changes, I can't boot into Windows. I'm trying everything and will check the logs or command prompt if needed.

You might try fixing it for hours, but the fastest and safest way is to back up your data and perform a clean install.

Is this a brand-new installation or a gradual issue? It could easily be anything, but a fresh setup usually prevents software conflicts. Hardware problems are more likely, especially when power usage spikes during a full Windows boot.

Build is two years apart from the motherboard, which is roughly a month old. My PC stopped booting completely, but I checked everything and the PSU still worked, so I thought it was the motherboard—probably a short somewhere. I replaced the motherboard and then faced the problem after 18 days. I’m unsure if the new board is affected, or if my previous motherboard caused the issue with RAM behavior or possibly damaged the PSU. I’m currently doing a fresh Windows install on a different drive just to be safe.
