It does, but I've mostly focused on Microsoft Flight Simulator and recently experienced frequent CPU slowdowns while playing.

It could be related to your motherboard's power limits (I've faced this with an old H510M using a Pro MMO and 10100f). Have you set up an MSI Afterburner and Riva Tuner? If not, install them so you can monitor the CPU and GPU power usage in-game. Do you understand how to adjust the settings in MSI Afterburner for that purpose?

It might be possible, but examining your details shows a fairly basic CPU (most Ryzen APUs except 5600G and 5700G aren’t great) and flight sim demands a lot of processing power. With 12 GB RAM, monitor how the GPU and RAM are utilized while playing. Also verify how much space is occupied on your boot drive and identify which drive you’re currently using.

They've faced numerous odd issues with Windows as well, though it's not extremely demanding on the CPU. In my opinion, the main bottleneck comes from inadequate VRM power, which you could check using hardware specs, but that won't appear as an overlay in the game. GeForce Experience doesn't display CPU power usage. MSI Afterburner download: Afterburner (msi.com)

the drive uses a TS480GSSD220S, cpu and ram consumption is quite high without being fixed, but when checking the debug FPS windows (part of msfs) it displays the main thread and coherentgtui with lag spikes reaching 50ms several times per second.

they're employing a setup with minimal VRMs and limited power delivery, along with few units available
