Hey there, I just installed my PC and started Doom Dark Ages. Everything seems to be working at full power, but the GPU and CPU were hovering around 60-70% and 3%. I managed to hit about 60-70 FPS, though I’m a bit worried the usage was unusually low. When I switched to Minecraft with its new visuals, it barely went above 120 FPS with similar percentages. I get high FPS in menus as usual, VSync is off, Expo is on, the bar resizes, power settings adjusted, BIOS updated, and I’ve cleared any frame caps or GPU drivers. What’s missing? My specs are: Ryzen 9 9950X3D, RTX 5090, Astral OC, G.Skill 2x24, 8000 T705, 2TB RAM, ROG X870E-E motherboard.

EXPO could be an issue at 8000 MHz because you're not using a 1:1 setup with the infinity fabric. We usually suggest 6000Mhz CL30 for this. The 9950X3D may require tweaks or core parking based on your OS to ensure it runs on the X3D cores.

The current setup at 4000mhz per stick seems accurate for 8000mt/s. For core parking management, consider optimizing your configuration to ensure stability and performance.

DDR means Double Data Rate. It’s possible you’re seeing 4000Mhz while each stick operates at 8000Mhz, which isn’t a perfect match unless adjusted manually. Which Windows version are you running—10 or 11?

Optimize your RAM usage by ensuring it matches your system's requirements, keeping it updated, and managing background processes to free up memory.

I'm really sorry, but I didn't get a reply. Today was quite hectic and demanding. For your CPU, the optimal RAM speed is around 6000Mhz. I also understand that 6200Mhz should perform comparably to 1:1 in most Ryzen 9000 models.
