My display shuts down as if I've programmed it to, yet it comes back on once the cycle ends. I noticed that disconnecting all USB keyboard and mouse connectors resolves the issue. I've checked generic device manager adjustments and power management options, even turned on the sleep wake setting in MSI BIOS. I'm reaching a dead end here.
If any USB connection is sending data back to the PC, it may restart the system. My wireless mouse turns off immediately when I activate sleep. It’s possible something went wrong with the mouse or its surface—even a small disturbance could trigger it. Other USB devices might be malfunctioning; I’d test them one by one to identify the issue.
