Hey everyone, I recently built a PC in early July that had a very specific issue where the PC would reboot randomly. After a week or so of troubleshooting at that time, I managed to fix the issue by increasing my DRAM voltage in the Bios and turning off Global C-state. This was a recommendation I saw online. Since then, I've had zero issues with the PC and everything was running well, up until today. My PC was not posting and there was a static red light under the CPU icon. So I reseated all of my connections to make sure, reseated the RAM, and nothing. No post. I then decided to try each ram stick individually, since I had a specific problem with the ram in the past I figured I'd give this a go. I took out the ram stick in the fourth slot and rada! My PC posted and I was able to get in. I then check to see if it was the slot or stick that was the issue and it turned out to be the stick. I placed only that stick in, tried to boot, then nothing. Then I placed the other one in solo and it worked. Both tested in the 2nd slot. While I was bummed I figured I would just have to buy a new kit, no biggie, until my PC began rebooting again with only one stick now. Same exact issue I had from the start. I'm not sure where to go from here, it seems the Bios changes for the ram were only temporary and not permanent. Is there an underlying problem here with my CPU/MB or did I just get two unfortunate sticks of ram? Hoping to solve this soon as possible since my PC is my lifeline for college and work. I am also purchasing that new kit later this evening and will update the post when I test it. Components- Team T-Force Delta 32gb 3600mhz MSI B550 Gaming Edge Wifi Ryzen 5 5600x Gigabyte 1060 6gb (placeholder for a new gpu)
