I assembled a computer recently and it’s now stuck in a loop. It starts up quickly but then stops and keeps looping. I verified the power connection wasn’t loose, but it only powers on for about five minutes before shutting down again. The components include Corsair 5000D airflow, Corsair 850 PSU, EVGA 1080ti SC2 Hybrid, Intel i5-12600k, Asus TUF z690 D4 Wi-Fi, 16Gb Corsair Vengeance, Seagate 4TB drive, and Crucial 500GB M.2. It’s running on Windows 10. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

This setup involves several steps, starting with resetting the BIOS. You’re likely familiar with doing that because you assemble the entire system.

It's been about ten minutes and it hasn't worked again—what should I do to get it into safe mode?

Uncertain about the situation, I managed to secure drivers since the package included an armory crate.

A small coin-sized battery on the motherboard can reset the BIOS if removed for about five minutes and then reinserted. Ensure power is cut beforehand. Once reset, a screen will appear saying "press F1 to enter setup." Press F1, then when the BIOS screen appears, press F1 again. This will show options like "load optimized defaults"—find it and press the key. Let me know if this clarifies your issue!

That happened and now the power switch doesn't function, though the RGB lights are still visible on the motherboard.

It seems like the device might have been unintentionally disconnected from the power source. If this isn't the issue, I'm unsure how to proceed. Otherwise, I recommend sending a return merchandise authorization for the motherboard.

You should consider reseating the RAM and CPU next.

Consider trying it as a backup. You might want to look for bend pins during this process.
