your cpu shows high usage during the game. several videos suggest creating a user cfg file to address this issue. the settings you mentioned seem to help in some configurations but not others. your system specs include an msi b650 tomahawk 7800x3d with 64 gigs, gskill flare x5 at 6000mhz, and a ventus 5070ti. temperatures are stable.

We're discussing significant CPU consumption. Your concern likely stems from performance issues or resource strain.

BF6 requires a lot of CPU power and can handle up to 16 threads. This leads to noticeable high CPU usage. Is this an issue? You should want your processor to work efficiently with the game for optimal performance.

Games aim for maximum performance, consuming all available resources. If this isn't ideal, you'll need to implement a frame rate cap. These configuration tricks are generally misleading.

It was the first game I played that really pushed all my 5950X to its limits in Division 2, and few have matched that performance afterward.

If conditions are favorable, what could go wrong? Are your graphics performance dropping? In reality, an ideal setup would demand 95% GPU usage and 95% CPU at 85°C, maintaining low noise without throttling while ensuring a steady frame rate.

CP 2077 is another option. I notice all 12c/24t on my 5900x.

That's correct. My 5900X performs much better in real-world scenarios, especially when a game can fully leverage it. My CPU constraints usually mean slightly improved results compared to the 5600X and significantly faster than the 5800X, largely depending on how well the system can access those extra resources.

Everything seems fine for BF6 or any other BF game on that chip. I have the chip myself and have played BF6/2042. I'm attempting to resolve a supposed issue that doesn't exist and might actually complicate things further.

Boost your FPS with a reflex in RTSS at 150 for reduced consumption
