Created a new AM5 PC but it fails to progress past the loading screen. It sometimes tries to fix itself before finishing. I've booted from USB too, but the issue persists—sometimes it reaches the install window yet still restarts. A boot LED appears followed by a DRAM LED just before shutdown. I suspect faulty RAM; I replaced it and got the same problem. I switched motherboards, realizing my original one lacked enough SATA slots anyway. It's frustrating—I have the specs: 7600x MSI Pro x670P, Wi-Fi 4x16GB, 5600MHz RAM, Evga 3090 Corsair 1200W PSU. Could it be multiple issues? I'm trying to figure this out.

Many DDR5 systems only allow two RAM modules, spaced apart by a gap, with one slot in between the CPU. Adjust the settings to 4800 and test performance.

Failed to meet expectations. The board supports 4x sticks, yet I attempted a 2x setup with both pairs—still no success. They’re placed correctly too. Updated notes: tested at 4800 and 5600 speeds, but no improvement.

Reset BIOS to default settings. Verify all power sockets, including PSU side and the other side.

Bios has been reinitialized multiple times, I'll look into the cables next. Good point!

The CPU includes an integrated GPU. Remove the GPU and run tests to see if the issue persists. If it restarts without any alerts, it likely points to a power supply unit rather than the CPU itself.

Results remain consistent regardless of RAM quantity or GPU status. All connections are intact, even after swaps. PSU and cables are properly linked. No indication the CPU is faulty. The likelihood of a brand-new 7600X failing is extremely low.

I recommend reinstalling it. What steps did you take this time, and what caused the difference?
