It does. Boosting memory speed is also known to be a slow process. Do you think adjusting RAM speeds improves performance? That’s curious. Are you asking about it all the time or just when you’re trying to change things? I don’t have proof either way. What I do know is that it’s a frequent practice. They’re usually not accurate. Or they rarely serve a purpose. I tend to doubt advertised cases since they represent just one figure among many. I often see just one or four, even though there are more. The PCPartPicker lists “cas16” ranging from 16-16-16-35 up to 16-22-22-42, with a section in between.
