My gf's computer has had this problem for a while now, it just restarts, or shuts down and starts booting but gets stuck and then she has to manualy turn it off and on. In the event viewer you could find WHEA critical error indicating that there is a problem with the hardware but i've checked the following: PSU was whining and was really bad (F tier) so i changed it for a B tier one, it is new and didn't fix the problem Multiple stress tests failed to reproduce the same outcome, pc did not crash I ran a memtest to check her RAM but after 4 hours it found no errors Used some programs to check SSD and also found no errors Checked the PC for viruses but also found none Turned on logs in HWInfo and found nothing odd when the PC crashed Lastly we did clean install of Windows and that worked for about a month and now it has happened again This time there is not WHEA critical error in the event viewer only "Microsoft-Windows-Kernel-Power" caused by a long button press to turn off the computer after it got stuck booting up. Any help is highly appreciated.

Yeah, sorry. It looks like you're using a high-performance setup with several powerful components. The CPU isn't overheating, which is great!

Have you attempted to clear the CMOS or restore the BIOS to its original settings?

She wanted to try Windows 11 after the install, so I had to adjust BIOS settings to allow it and Valorant to function. That meant changing some options that locked the GPU, which damaged the graphics chip. Once I switched the CSM and Secure Boot settings back, clearing the CMOS resolved the issue and it worked for a month.

Understood, those incorrect BIOS configurations are excluded.

No, I haven't checked that yet. Have you tried updating the BIOS?

Includes both CPU and GPU. I've completed 3DMark, PCMark and PC Doctor's stress test.

I don't have it, but I think the issue isn't likely because she's been using that computer since around 2020, with the same BIOS version the original came with.
