I assembled my PC in the summer of 2018 and have been running Windows since about 2019. Recently, I've faced several Windows issues—my system freezes when launching certain apps, sometimes runs fine after a while, or displays a BSOD. During restarts or power-on, I encounter a "Reboot and select proper boot device" prompt and can't boot normally from the SSD. It seems the SSD might be the root cause, though problems began soon after adding a second monitor. My PSU also has lower wattage than recommended for my GPU. I've attached the dump files and parts list for reference. I attempted to use Resource and Performance Monitor, but it took over 30 minutes to complete. The chkdsk command didn't show any errors. Replacing the SSD seems like a likely fix, but I want to verify first. Any guidance on diagnosing the SSD would be helpful.

The 500W PSU fits the hardware requirements. Regarding the SSD, were you thinking about increasing its size? You might want to replace it with a larger drive and perform a fresh Windows installation together. Here are a few tips.

I wasn’t expecting to upgrade this PC, but I might swap the SSD if necessary—a 1 TB model would work. I also updated my BIOS to the newest release. While I suspect the problem is with the SSD, I’ve found that BIOS updates have often fixed similar issues before.

I can't assure you the issue is with the SSD, but it won’t be thrown away because you can still use it elsewhere.
