Hello, I recently installed a new setup using an AMD Ryzen 7 2700X paired with a Patriot Viper 4 Blackout Memory rated at 3200MHz on my Gigabyte B450 Aorus Elite motherboard. However, memory issues have been persistent. At first, I suspected the problem was with the RAM itself, since I usually stick to speeds below 2666MHz and had loose timings on the 3200MHz modules. After sending them back, I upgraded to Corsiar Vengeance RGB PRO sticks rated for 3200MHz, which came with Samsung B-Die ICs. Thinking positively, I expected better stability, so I enabled XMP. Unfortunately, after a Memtest64 run, I saw 12 errors within half an hour and a blue screen appeared. I adjusted the BIOS settings for SOC and DRAM voltages, raising the DRAM voltage to 1.39V. When I ran Memtest for an hour, there were still 3 errors, which wasn’t ideal given the subsequent blue screen. I attempted to tweak the SOC voltage slightly, but results remained similar. Eventually, I tried running the system normally with these settings, but it ended up with numerous BSODs and crashes. I’m feeling quite discouraged. Could this be a motherboard issue? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

EDIT: I also tested the Patriot Memory on a Z170 Intel system with XMP enabled, and it performed perfectly fine.

You're using the correct RAM slots. Just to confirm, did you check the manual again before asking?

You're currently using F42f, but haven't fully tested F50 yet. It might be a good step to try it next.

I considered reverting to F5 and wondered if swapping out the CPU helped.
