I feel like cpu util should be more than 6% with maxes of 18% for this game. But I am not sure what to do about that. Maybe save anything you have open and then set cpu priority of gta5 to realtime in task manager, see if it improves. There's a small chance it will cause instability, but you can just restart if you cant close the game.
Cool comment, but I'm not sure how to handle it. I checked online and changed the priority to realtime. The CPU stays around 10% during city driving.
Don't let me down... @Arinijus those 16GB of RAM configuration is unclear—could it be 1x16GB, 2x8GB, 1x8GB+2x4GB or 4x4GB? Are you using an XMP profile? Please share CPU-Z screenshots of all tabs (or validation), GPU-Z and PassMark RAMMon images, and verify drives via Hard Disk Sentinel. Also, check drivers with IOBit Driver Booster. For tweaks, turn off Multiplane Overlay MPO and use InSpectre to disable Spectre and Meltdown protections. Is the game running on an SSD?
RAM consists of a single 16GB stick, though the channel setup was limited. When prebuilt in 2019, I didn’t have much choice. I turned on XMP via the BIOS, and added screenshots from CPU-Z along with the RAMMon export file. The system isn’t heavily taxed—just Discord, Chrome, etc. Tried IObit, but outdated Bluetooth and network drivers showed up. The game runs smoothly on a Seagate Barracuda 1TB, same drive it was previously installed on and worked well. I’ll verify its health just in case. RAMMon - SPD Info.html
