System hits 75-80°C during gameplay

Not long ago I changed my BIOS settings, and since then the temperature has increased by at least 5-6°C. I recall watching a video about a BIOS adjustment that significantly lowered my CPU temperature. That setting likely helped cool it down. I’m curious if anyone knows what that specific BIOS option was for a Ryzen 5600X with the stock cooler.

Explore various settings: adjust fan curves, reduce voltage, lower maximum clock speed. There are plenty of choices available.

I didn't note the upgrade until later, but I discovered the adjustment settings. If you're curious, it was a precision boost overdrive and core performance boost. I had to turn them off.

CPU is working properly. Adjusting PBO settings or setting up ECO mode might help if needed. If the fan noise remains high with the stock cooler, consider replacing it with a better model.
