Disconnect all unnecessary components to power up the system—drives, USB devices, front audio connectors, and anything else you don’t need. Keep only the keyboard for accessing BIOS. If that works, gradually reintroduce parts one by one until the issue returns. Re-seating the CPU could be helpful; I’ve experienced similar problems before and reseating it resolved them.
Thanks for the help—it worked once, but the problem came back. I kept trying fixes and it eventually resolved. Still unsure how to prevent this next time.
