My pc which i built in 2020 had a Ryzen 5 2600 and a 1660 super was keeping up fine until I got developing bigger projects for game design I upgraded my pc first with replacing my GPU to a ROG Strix 3080 2 months ago and it was severely bottlenecked exactly 1 week ago i replaced my cpu with a ryzen 9 5900x keeping my 700w white power supply, my ASUS b450 and my 16gb 3000mhz of ram the first test with the new CPU was amazing I almost doubled and in some cases tripled my fps in games like bo6 after a couple hours I experienced blue screens, game crashes, fps goes down to 30 until I reboot and most importantly my peripherals like my mouse just disconnect every 5-10 seconds for about 2 seconds which really is basically unusable if you are gaming resulting in just a total loss from this upgrade after that I started experiencing windows just freezing from literally everything like opening a new tab, alt tabbing, and just pressing stuff and its a bad freeze too sometimes causing my discord or browser to crash at first I thought the issue was with my pc not getting enough power from my 700watt psu I limited my GPU's power consumption to 70% outright which really causes frame drops and makes any shooter game unplayable But the problems still occurred even though the power draw wasn't close to 700w my GPU temps sit at 28-30 at idle and 56 at full load my CPU is a lot hotter since I have a wack aerocool single fan cooler and it idles at 45 and max out at 80 I have tried scanning windows for errors, new GPU drivers, quickcpu , power plans, undervolting my gpu, memory testing, using different usb ports and different mice which sometimes worked my clip of overwatch shows how my mouse kept disconnecting but since its a highlight the actual gameplay was running at consistent 26 frames without load on the pc and sometimes even my monitor would disconnect and my mouse lights would turn off and on I would hear the windows disconnect sound in game too when it happens after restarting overwatch and joining a new game my pc blue screened with an error code "whea uncorrectable error" Overwatch 2 2024.11.21 - 23.56.51.02.mp4

Things to consider: Look for BIOS updates, remove any obstructions, verify your RAM speed, run memtest, check drive health with crystal info, reset CPU, RAM, and GPU, reattach all power cables. If none of these help and you have a spare drive, try reinstalling Windows on it to see if the issue is a software problem.
Hi, OddOod. The freezing issue appears everywhere. DDU didn't resolve the problem. I have an aerocool 700W Plus unit without an ups, and my country's electricity is very stable. I updated my BIOS about a month ago when I tried to enable rebar, but it seems disabled now. I usually run games without overclocking, though I’d like to do so in the future since I plan to purchase these parts later. I ran a memtest two hours ago and everything came back clean. My Kingston sticks show a base clock of 2800, but they have an XMP profile set to 3000MHz. I use the default BIOS profile, which might count as an overclock. I’m planning to run a crystal disk soon and wonder if dismantling the PC would help catch small errors. That could be worth considering.

CPU temperature stayed above 89°C, nearing a threshold that might cause several problems. I suspect the mouse issue isn’t the PC itself—my keyboard shut down a few times, but my microphone stays on during games.
