I'm facing an unusual problem where my PC frequently gets stuck in a boot loop, either when trying to launch Windows 11 after startup or occasionally after idling for less than five minutes on the desktop. Based on what you've described, it seems hardware-related, though I need guidance to pinpoint the exact issue. All parts are new, and I can still return for an RMA. I've already tried several steps: booting into BIOS (it doesn't restart by itself, temperatures look normal), updating BIOS, unplugging/plugging in power supplies and motherboard connections, reseating CPU pins, cooler, RAM, GPU, M.2 drive, and even using different power outlets. The only stable boot occurs when I remove the M.2 drive and use a recovery drive. I also attempted to boot from an older SSD running Windows 10, which still caused a restart. There might be some unknown UEFI settings affecting this. My specs include a Ryzen 9 5900X, B550 motherboard (BIOS F15), RTX 3070, and several high-end components. I'm open to suggestions on what could be causing this behavior.
In recent updates of Windows, it now restarts automatically after a crash; I plan to turn off this behavior. I’m hoping the next time it surprises you, you’ll find the cause in a specific system file and can pinpoint it more easily. Starting with power settings on the M2 chip might help—explore your power options to stop the chip from entering standby mode.
