Immediately after turning on my computer, the screen appears with options to press Delete or F11 for BIOS or Boot selection, but it freezes at that point. I can access BIOS and adjust settings, yet after saving and exiting it keeps freezing and rebooting. I’ve unplugged the power cable, checked my keyboard, mouse, headphones, etc., and even tried booting from recovery USB, but each time it freezes again. Eventually I managed to enter the system, but it required around 30 reboots. For tonight I’ll leave it on, but I’m unsure where to find T/S settings—I have no idea if it’s an SSD problem, Windows issue, or something else. Now that everything seems fine, it appears normal. It did this a few weeks ago too, but only took about two reboots to resolve. System specs: http://speccy.piriform.com/results/fTOs6...nWfBL5E7ZR Updates: I updated my BIOS, upgraded Windows 10, disabled XMP profiles on RAM, replaced the CMOS battery, and reinserted GPU and RAM. I’ll test again tomorrow to see if any of these steps resolved it.

Tell me about your hardware details and whether any part of it feels slow or unresponsive.

Use a method like HWinfo to extract your specs, then paste them into the forum. Avoid clicking Delete or F11 unless necessary, as that can trigger freezing issues.

I checked your setup and noticed you're using a Z390 board. It's a good idea to swap out CMOS batteries every few years—last I replaced mine and it worked. My Z590 motherboard had POST issues that resolved after changing the battery, which was only providing 2.8V. Fingers crossed this is straightforward for you too.

Verify your SSD: The issue appears when attempting to boot from your operating system drive or recovery disk. This suggests your SSD might be the cause. Consider switching to another SSD or HDD for booting and observe whether the problem continues.

If the problem was an SSD, shouldn’t you be able to start from your recovery USB? You’ve seen others with failing HDDs and still managed to boot into recovery media.
