The problem began a few months ago with the previous MOBO. I had used it for two years without issues. When Windows boots and freezes, it stays stuck until manually shut down. I attempted a repair first, but sometimes it worked, other times not. DISM and SFC scans found no errors. Repair mode didn’t help either. Formatting Windows didn’t fix it. I tried stressing the CPU with Prime95 for an hour without issues. RAM checks passed on Memtest86 (6 passes per module). I swapped the PSU and tested the GPU on another PC. Still couldn’t pinpoint the cause, so I decided to purchase a new MOBO and format Windows. After about a month, it started working again. I think having only one RAM slot resolves the issue, but two slots don’t. Any suggestions? Thanks! -- Hardware

Check the CSM/EFI settings or Secure Boot status. Try loading defaults and adjusting RAM settings manually. Ensure you have the most recent BIOS version installed. Also, confirm the SOC voltage specifications.
