I just assembled my computer and it operates smoothly with everything configured to defaults. All drivers were updated and everything was ready. But once I enter BIOS and adjust the RAM speed to 5600, the machine freezes during startup or shortly afterward. I found a discussion suggesting that using four RAM sticks isn’t ideal for this configuration. Switching to two sticks of 32GB would have been preferable. I removed two sticks to make it two 16GB units, set the speed to 5600, but freezing persisted. I also tried launching the EXPO profile, which didn’t resolve the issue well. Various adjustments were made, yet I’m stuck on the next steps. Links from PCpartpicker show that an AMD Ryzen 7 7700X 4.5 GHz 8-core processor works best with this setup. The NXT Kraken Elite 240 78.02 CFM cooler and MSI MPG B650 are compatible, along with a Trident Z5 Neo RGB 32GB RAM (two 16GB sticks) using DDR5-5600 CL28 memory. A Microsoft Windows 11 Home OEM build is available, and the power supply is ATX AM5 with G.Skill Trident Z5. The system runs at 64-bit and is certified 80+ Gold. I’m not sure what to do next after these trials.

It seems there were some challenges with Ryzen CPUs and DDR5 memory. Many users faced problems when trying to increase speeds. It could be useful to explore this further.

The 5600 MHz target is quite high for four sticks. AMD only promises up to 3600 MHz for four sticks with DDR5 on the 7700x. Just activate XMP for timing adjustments, but reduce the speed manually one step at a time until it boots and runs smoothly.

Begin at 4000 and gradually increase. It looks like you'll reach the high 4000s.
