Hey there, I've encountered this problem with my computer twice now. I managed to resolve it, but I'm curious if anyone has insights on why it occurs or what my solution does. Essentially, the issue starts with the computer freezing. When watching a video, it freezes but audio stays, pausing doesn't help, and pressing spacebar doesn't work. After turning it off and back on, all peripherals stop functioning—monitors, keyboard, mouse lose display, lights, and response. Holding the power button to shut it down doesn't cut power, and the power button flickers instead of turning off. Even after unplugging and replugging, nothing works; all internal components still light up (CPU cooler, RAM, motherboard, power button). Turning on a single RAM stick in the second slot fixes it, but removing the GPU doesn't help this time. I also tried disconnecting and reconnecting three close power cables on the PSU (not the MOBO cable), resetting the CMOS battery, taking out the GPU, leaving only one RAM stick, and then restarting. After that, everything works again. What causes this behavior? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Your specs: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X, 16GB RAM, G.Skill RGB+32GB non-RGB (same frequencies & voltage), Sapphire RX 5600 XT, Gigabyte B550 Aorus Elite AX V2 M.2 SSD, Silverstone Strider ST Gold Series 750W PSU.
