Hey there, so I recently set up a new computer and have been dealing with some really strange problems. At completely unexpected moments, it would make a buzzing noise and then suddenly crash. It could happen while I was surfing the web, writing code, or playing games—really anytime, honestly. The story behind this is that the machine was assembled by a manufacturer, except for the graphics card (the seller said it was meant for mining). It functioned flawlessly on day one, but the next day, while coding, there was a buzzing sound, my cursor slowed down and then stopped completely. The screens flickered but appeared to stay on, since the lights of the GPU, CPU, and case stayed lit. It never repeated again for five days until it happened again during a Dota 2 session. I looked into it, changed the drivers using DDU, and reinstalled them. Right after that, when I launched Dota 2, it crashed once more. Then I restarted the PC to check Event Logs, but it kept happening. I’m not sure what’s going on, but everything seems brand new except the GPU, and the machine is only about two months old.
