So as the title states my computer is stuck on the windows boot screen (where the dots go circles) and when I try to get the Windows automated repair to run the screen just stays permanently black after the text "Preparing automated repair" disappears. I've tried the troubleshooting methods number 1, 2, 3 and 6 listed here https://www.drivereasy.com/knowledge/com...ot-screen/ The problem with resetting BIOS is that I have to have the boot on legacy boot for my BIOS to show the boot drive on the bootable device section. I just tried reinstalling Windows from a stick but it does the same thing. I can't get into safe mode so I can't try the options 4 and 5. I have fairly new components as I replaced my CPU, GPU, motherboard, RAM and PSU like two weeks back. Also I asses a M.2 drive to my system. Could a faulty piece of hardware be the source of the problem? Update on the situation: Apprently the load is not infinite. After like 15min of loading my computer boots and everything system related works REALLY slow. Things like using the browser was snappy as ever. I tried reinstalling Windows through Windows own reinstaller but it just loaded 30min without anything happening before I had go go to bed. Also one of my drives appeared on My Computer without displaying it's capasity and I couldn't play any games that were on it. I assume this means the drive is dead. Thank you for your help already in advance. GPU: GeForce RTX4070TI CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D MOBO: Gigabyte Aorus elite AX RAM: 32GB Corsair Vengeance DDR5 6000MHz PSU: Corsair RM850x 850W Also I have a bunch of different SSD's and a HDD. Oldest SSD is 8 years old or something like that at this point. Windows is installed on the new M.2 drive.

Create a new Windows install USB using the Windows Media Creation Tool, directing the setup to the USB drive. Assume another Windows machine is available for assistance. Disconnect all drives except the M2 drive. Insert the Windows install USB into the computer and boot via BIOS. Configure the system to boot from UEFI mode, designate the USB as the primary boot device. Restart the machine. You will be prompted to begin a custom installation and erase all existing partitions on the M2 drive. The process will convert the drive to GPT format and enable UEFI support. This operation will completely wipe the drive, so proceed only if no important data needs retention.

It appears the issue stemmed from a malfunctioning drive, which was resolved by disconnecting it.
