I've upgraded to a Trident Z RGB 3600MHz motherboard and used Gigabyte Z370M D3H M. I switched from Corsair Vengeance 2400MHz RAM to XMP with 1.35V settings. Over the past two days, my PC experienced random freezes requiring manual restarts. What's going on? Need some assistance.

It's expected to reach 1.38 volts. I've learned that values above 1.35 can be harmful over time for the motherboard.

It really varies; some RAM modules struggle to maintain performance at lower voltages like 1.35V and may become unstable. For instance, my Trident Z RGB 2x16GB 3000C16 works at 1.35V on certain systems, but one system only stays stable at 1.4V. Other kits perform well at the rated 1.35V in the same setup. A voltage of 1.38V is acceptable, and over time it should be fine for about a decade.

It seems the device lists 1.35V, but when using auto voltage, it draws 1.38V. What’s happening with the actual voltage reading?

It's understandable, but 1.38v won't harm your equipment in any way and could fix all the crashes you're facing.

The person giving the advice isn't familiar with the topic. B-Die works well at around 1.5v with a bit of airflow, while other furs perform best at about 1.45v.

Do you have two sticks or four? It’s likely the 8600k IMC won’t work well with RAM when all four channels are busy.
