Occasionally my computer freezes at the motherboard logo and doesn't respond. After restarting a couple of times, it works fine. Usually this occurs early in the morning when I first turn on the PC. It doesn’t happen every day. What might be causing this issue?

It seems the motherboard isn't initializing the Windows boot properly. You might want to review the boot configuration in your BIOS and verify it points to Windows Boot Manager or your storage device. A BIOS upgrade could also resolve the issue.
