I purchased all the new parts except the GPU. My system setup includes: Ryzen 5 3600 B450, Aorus Elite V2 2x8GB, Kingston Beast 3600Mhz, FSP Hydro Pro 600W, MSI RX 470 Gaming, and 4GB RAM. The issue began during Windows installation when a crash occurred. Initially, the DRAM light appeared on the motherboard, and the screen showed no signal despite the PC running. To fix it, I had to power on the PSU switch and then restart the computer. After several attempts, I installed Windows and thought everything was fine until a crash reappeared after a short login period. I searched online for possible causes but found nothing useful. I removed the RAM sticks, tried different orientations, and even used another PC with a different CPU (Ryzen 5 1600) which worked without issues. However, when I swapped in my own CPU (Ryzen 5 1600) with all the other components, the crashes resumed. After reinstalling Windows, I replaced the CPU and it stopped working again. When I used a different CPU from another build (Asus Prime A320, 2x4GB, 2400Mhz, Cooler Master 500W), the system functioned properly. At one point, I encountered voltage warnings in BIOS (CPU Vcor and VCOR SOC -0.1V), but after adjusting settings, the PC operated normally again, though it still crashed occasionally. Now I’m unsure what’s causing the problem and wonder if replacing the CPU might be the solution. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Only one stick was used, another slot? Check the latest BIOS. At stock configurations. Updated May 24, 2023 by leclod
I used one stick in each slot and also tested with RAM from a friend's computer, but nothing worked. I realized the issue might be related to the BIOS version, so I updated to the latest (F65a) instead of my previous F64. The next day I tried lowering the voltage by -0.15V, but the PC still crashed after a few boot cycles.
