My laptop runs both Ubuntu and Windows 10, and I’m facing a problem with the Ubuntu installation where my wireless keyboard and mouse keep freezing unexpectedly. When using the docked setup, the issue appears only when suspended—usually not when it sleeps on its own. Pressing power wakes everything up, but the external devices stay unresponsive until I reconnect them. They freeze intermittently, forcing me to disconnect and reconnect repeatedly until I restart the system. The monitor and headphones work without issues. It seems Ubuntu is booting from an external Thunderbolt drive, even though my BIOS doesn’t support that format, requiring a workaround.

I used the instructions provided, but they didn’t resolve the problem. Additionally, SecureBoot is active, preventing hibernation; removing it involves several additional steps before the system can boot into Windows.
