A few weeks back I upgraded my PC with an additional 16GB of RAM. When I use the DOCP profile or run it at 3600Mhz, the screens begin to flicker and the system restarts. It works smoothly around 2200Mhz. I experienced crashes while playing Minecraft and using Adobe Lightroom. I’ve been gradually lowering the speeds and it’s become more stable. I’m aiming for the highest possible speed without problems. I haven’t seen any BSOD messages, but I made sure to get the same RAM as before—PC Specs: Windows 11, Asus x570p (Bios 4602), Ryzen 7 3700X, 4x G.SKILL Ripjaws V, 8GB, 3600Mhz. MSI 2070 8GB, WD black SN750, Corsair RM750x, PSU. I’m not very skilled at fixing PC issues, so I need some assistance.

I attempted memtest86 on a few drives initially, then switched to the newer ones and tested each stick individually.

There are three potential causes: 1. Variation in ICs between the new and old RAM modules leads to instability when DOCP/XMP is enabled; this is typically fixed by manually overclocking the RAM to its listed speed. 2. Your CPU's memory controller can't manage four sticks running at 3600Mhz, which may require lowering the clock speed or replacing all your RAM with a 2x16GB configuration. 3. One or more RAM sticks are defective.

I also fixed a problem on my PC by changing the RAM speed manually to 3400 MHz, and it worked without any issues afterward.

3200 was suggested instead of 3600. @lilotus.FRM is correct.
