I built his PC a few weeks ago and helped him set it up. When it started, the 3200 memory was only reaching 2133 MHz, even after enabling XMP. The games would crash afterward, so we turned it off. Now it runs fine at rated speeds without any issues. How can I get it to perform optimally without crashes?

SPECS?!! I've heard from Zen2 and others that they struggle with frequencies over 3000Mhz. Also learned it's quite dependent on the motherboard, so no useful specs here!

Yes, a 1650 super gigabyte DS3H MOMO with a 3600 CPU, 16GB RAM (2x8GB at 3200 MHz) is a solid setup.

The motherboard likely supports 3200Mhz, but your CPU might not be compatible at that speed. Consider using 3000Mhz as an alternative. Alternatively, the RAM could be of poor quality or you may need to adjust the voltage slightly—maximum around 0.2V.

Many boards support several XMP profiles. Activating XMP and adjusting the speed manually could yield varied outcomes.

I ran it at 3000 MHz by hand and it worked for a short time, but then he began showing bluescreening effects.

Ensure the RAM is placed in the appropriate DIMM slots, such as A2 and B2. After installing the G.Skill 3600MHz RAM in those positions, the system booted successfully with DOCP enabled.
