System failure reported, experiencing regular shutdowns and blue screen errors.
Took a break and returned to the message about "operating system not found." Restarted the PC after removing the external HDD, and it worked properly. Proceeded with disk scans and checked the health of both SSD and HDD—SSD showed 69% health, HDD was marked as good. Ran a CMD disk check for repairs. During restart, the C drive scan paused at 16% for five minutes before a blue screen appeared (attached). After another restart, Windows failed to boot and displayed the BIOS without showing the SSD. This reminds me of a past issue ~3 years ago involving a faulty PSU that damaged my SSD; I replaced both and everything functioned normally. My Intel i9 processor sometimes shows unusual speeds (like -3.7GHz or +22GHz), which I initially thought was a hardware fault, so I uninstalled the OS entirely. What options do I have now? Any advice would be appreciated.
I just turned off the computer, disconnected the power supply and main outlet, restarted it, and it prompted whether to skip the check. I chose to skip it and the OS booted normally. According to online sources, the issue might be due to a corrupted boot file? I decided to shut down my PC quickly, considering a format and fresh installation of Windows.
