The name clearly describes the issue I’m facing. I often experience problems downloading games while multitasking, and my computer would freeze or crash. I’m unsure what’s behind it and wasn’t sure if others had any suggestions.

Start by opening the Windows Event Viewer and reviewing any logged errors. Next, examine your storage devices using tools like CrystalDiskInfo. Adding your hardware information can also assist others in diagnosing the problem.

Well, the temperatures are rising. When I install a game, it puts a heavy load on the CPU and pushes my temps into the high 70s. A poor cooler might cause overheating, leading to thermal throttling. This forces the system to slow down significantly, which can make the computer freeze or shut down completely. If you mean a crash, it could be anything from the OS not responding to a program interfering with the CPU—possibly malware like a virus or antivirus software. I recently had a virus that drained my system's power and caused freezing during intense tasks. Check the event viewer, task manager, and run virus scans to investigate further.
