I recently upgraded my graphics card from the old broken one to a new RX 6600XT, which also required a more powerful PSU. I swapped the 600W unit for a 750W model from ADX. Initially, after installation, the power supply emitted a repetitive ticking sound synchronized with the fan lights. Once everything was reassembled, I plugged in any cables I had forgotten and noticed the problem now is that when I try to turn it on, nothing happens—no lights, no sound. My system specs are: B450m Pro4 motherboard, RX 6600XT GPU, Ryzen 5 3600 CPU, two 8GB DDR4 RAM sticks, one 1TB M.2 drive, a 250GB SSD, and an ADX 750W PSU.

Your power sources needed to be completely modular. Did you connect the cables from one supply to another? That’s not allowed. Another possible fix is to verify the switch on the back of the power supply is set correctly.

I faced a comparable issue earlier. It turned out the cable connecting to the motherboard wasn't fully inserted. You might want to verify that.

The previous unit wasn't modular, so I swapped all the cables and double-checked the PSU switch as well.

Thanks, it turns out the cable wasn’t properly secured and ended up coming loose. Maybe I should’ve double-checked that.

The only situation where nothing occurs is when the power button isn’t linked or there’s no electricity from the outlet, especially if the 24-pin isn’t on the motherboard.

Continuing to receive the same result after reinserting the 24-pin connector remains unchanged.

Once I linked the 24-pin connector, I was still receiving no signal, and there’s power coming from the wall as well.

I confirmed both sides are safely secured.
