Hello everyone, I just assembled a new PC. The key component is the motherboard – an Asus Strix B550 Gaming Wifi. My CPU is an AMD Ryzen 9 5900X. When setting up Windows, I encountered booting issues; the disk appears in storage info but not in the boot menu (pressing F8). It also doesn<|pad|>, it isn’t listed under Boot Priority. The storage device is a WD Game Drive 3083. The mainboard shows A9 as an error, which isn’t necessarily a problem. I also attempted to boot Linux and run Windows in a VM, but that failed since the SSD isn’t showing up in the boot options. What should I do?
Yes, another SSD can function properly if it matches your system requirements and is compatible.
