I was relocating my whole desk along with the computer and monitor, and suddenly the screen and accessories stopped working. The fans continued to spin. This pattern has happened before—it suggests the CPU isn’t functioning correctly or there’s a problem connecting the motherboard to the CPU. I’m noting that the CPU indicator on the motherboard stays lit. My guess is that a cable might have disconnected during the move. I removed the entire motherboard from the case and reconnected everything, but it didn’t work. I placed the CPU out and back in, using only one memory stick. I’m currently waiting a few minutes while the CMOS battery drains for 15 minutes. It’s frustrating because everything worked fine before. The CPU model is 5600 on a B450 board, and the PSU is a NZXT C750 gold. Any advice? Update: CMOS battery drained for 15 minutes with no improvement. Here’s a short video. 20231219_213546.mp4

Take out the cooler and CPU, look for bent pins. If none found, reinstall them, applying fresh paste if needed. You can also reinsert the RAM sticks.

The EZ Debug CPU light is lit, suggesting a problem with the processor. It's recommended to reinsert the CPU and look for damaged pins or scorch marks.

The CPU connections appear intact. No evidence of overheating or damage. I've already repositioned it. I plan to clean and reconnect it step by step with great care. There might have been a few leftover thermal paste particles.

It functions now! I’m not sure precisely what caused it, but I disconnected everything, wiped the thermal paste, cleared all dust from the motherboard, and it resumed operation.
