You've adjusted your Linux partition to fill the entire drive from the ISO, but it's failing to boot. The error message indicates the boot device isn't recognized. Since you have backups, you might need to reinstall the OS rather than just resizing the partition. Let me know if you need further guidance.

Choose the appropriate distribution and configure the system, then create a FAT32 partition and reinstall GRUB.

I'm unsure which specifications you're referring to. Could you clarify the model or details of your system? Also, explain why the Grub installation failed after your tutorial.

I understand updating grub via the OS might reveal additional bootable drives, but without access...it's unclear. Would trying to update grub from another storage device help? It might just shift the issue elsewhere.

Thanks for the response, by the way. Just going to reinstall Linux then.

To start without a functioning grub, use the ultimate boot CD. Navigate to HDD > boot management, and after checking all choices, the only viable options are Super grub disk 1 and 2. With those, you can consistently boot any working linux system. I even apply it on a virtual machine lacking grub, but I prefer not to troubleshoot it. Whenever I restart (usually keeping it in a saved state), I boot from the UBCD ISO and launch the system.
