Hello, I joined the discussion once more, believing this issue might be unsolvable. I upgraded my system using an older prebuilt setup my brother provided, swapping the CPU and RAM. In short, after completing all changes and using it for a few months, stability returned only after a restart while playing Minecraft. I suspect the repeated crashes were linked to my allocation of maximum available RAM (8GB) on a Windows 10 system that struggled with pagefile management. It seems I allocated everything, possibly because the OS was confused about where to place the pagefile on the HDD, which initially prevented booting. I experienced daily BSODs while playing M.C. Eternal Minecraft modpack, and the only visible sign was my GPU power light staying white, suggesting power delivery was present but not functioning. After a failed restart, I tried turning it back on, but nothing appeared. The only clue was the ASUS Strix power connector light, which stayed green, indicating power was reaching the GPU. I thought my PSU might be dead and replaced it with a new Corsair model, but it didn’t help. Nothing turned on—no lights, no fans, no unusual smells. I spent time researching fixes, testing CMOS removal, reseeding RAM, and even checking for power supply issues. I disconnected peripherals, used another case’s power button, prayed, sniffed the system, and added a boot beep device. Despite these efforts, nothing resolved the problem. I’m still puzzled: how does my GPU get power when it isn’t on? No fans spin, no lights flicker, yet everything feels dead. I’ve had my screwdriver knocked off the board multiple times. There are some lights that stay on even without power, which makes me wonder about hidden components.
