Hey there, I've been using my computer for about two to three weeks now. I was tweaking the fan settings in the BIOS when I tried to save and restart, but it got stuck on the Asrock logo. After a while, the system booted up, fans started spinning, and then the BIOS displayed a message like "press f2." It then showed the Asrock logo with the loading circle spinning, and it just stayed there.
What I've tried so far:
- CMOS reset (no luck)
- Reinstalling RAM cleanly
- Reinstalling Windows
- Reseating everything except the processor
- Updating all drivers
Interestingly, when I set my BIOS to ultra fast boot, the Asrock logo disappeared and I could easily get into Windows. Sometimes the logo would hang, but pressing the reset button let me back in. This makes me think it might be a software problem rather than a hardware one. I initially thought there could be an SSD issue, but that wouldn't work if I couldn't access it at all during ultra fast boot.
This isn’t a long-term fix for me, and I’m leaning toward switching to an MSI B450 Mortar since I’ve seen many users face the same problem with Asrock boards.

In the BIOS you can turn off the logo display or turn on a detailed printout of its actions. Doing so helps identify where it becomes unresponsive. Check if the internal speaker emits any tones or if the motherboard provides a diagnostic readout.
You might be experiencing issues with your HDD/SSD or a USB device. An old USB microphone with a damaged connector could cause similar problems. Are there any other storage devices connected via SATA or USB?
