System fails to start when memory is placed in slots B1 and B2
I own a Ryzen 7 5800X processor, an ASRock x570 Steel Legend motherboard, and HyperX Fury RAM which has become outdated and was later rebranded as Kingston Beast Fury. As mentioned, my system doesn't display anything (the graphics card isn't working), but the fans except for the GPU ones start spinning, then stop briefly before restarting repeatedly. This cycle continues indefinitely until I turn it off. This problem appears only when using the B1 and B2 slots (third and fourth). The new RAMs or old ones didn't fix the issue because I tested them in both A1 and A2 slots, even mixing them together. I used dual channel before installing the new RAMs, but now it doesn't work either. On the motherboard, the DRAM and CPU lights stay on constantly when three or four RAMs are installed, or when RAM is placed in B1 and B2 slots. The situation changes when I install RAM in A1 and A2, but then other LEDs like VGA and BOOT also light up. I've tried updating BIOS, clearing CMOS, re-seating the CPU multiple times, reseating RAMs several times, and even swapping all combinations. I've also checked all connections and contacted ASRock support, who didn't help much. I found some solutions online suggesting the motherboard or CPU might be faulty, but I hadn't touched the CPU when I first installed the RAM. Please assist me in resolving this issue.
Get a spray bottle, pour in 99% isopropyl alcohol, mist it onto the RAM slots, let it air dry. If that doesn’t work, remove the CPU and spray the same liquid onto the socket and CPU pins, then allow it to dry.
Alcohol wipes can help clean surfaces, but their effectiveness depends on the substance and the area you're treating.
