CPU: 10900k GPU: MSI GTX 1080 Mini Mobo: ROG Maximus XIII Hero Boot Drive: Samsung 970 EVO w/ Windows 10 Pro My PC is in the living room, and I needed to run my main PC monitor off my dedicated GPU, then switch to the living room TV using the iGPU, after removing the GPU, enabling iGPU Multi-Monitor, and reinserting it—without any windows appearing. Since this started, I've adjusted all Secure Boot and CSM settings, tried default configurations, but even with a fresh Windows install, the board won't boot. I had to turn off CSM manually. It's not about the drive detection; the board works fine, but it fails to recognize Windows. I have the installation tool ready, but if I need to reinstall, I'll have to format the drive. Start-up repair doesn’t help much, though it has a command prompt option. Any suggestions? I’m not sure what to do next.

Reset the CMOS. Connect the monitor and TV to the dedicated card and finish. You can purchase adapters for your cables.

It was a pleasant session so far. Everything seems to be functioning properly. It turned out the 500 series chipset isn't compatible with the iGPU when Windows runs in MBR mode. Because I turned on Multi-GPU, the system didn't recognize my MBR windows. So I used AOMEI to change to GPT. After that, Multi-GPU is working correctly and everything is back to normal.
