System fails to start, unsure of solutions Hardware or software issues might be the cause
I addressed the issue quickly. Mixing RAM sticks with varying speeds and voltages could have affected your PC. It might not be the CPU, but it could be the PSU, RAM, motherboard, or GPU. Please let me know if you need further assistance.
Mixing RAM won't harm the device but might affect BIOS settings. Clearing CMOS could help, could you share your system details?
I’ve attempted to reset CMOS, but perhaps my method is incorrect. I either remove the battery for five minutes or use a screwdriver to short the pins. The GPU is Radeon RX 580, CPU is Ryzen 5600x, and I’m using the RAM model B450 pro4-f. I’m trying to run Ripjaws V 3200 at 1.35v.
The simplest approach is to shut down the system and let the battery sit for 5-10 seconds before reinserting it. This will restore the BIOS to its original configuration. If problems persist, begin with a single stick of RAM and observe the system's response; it might indicate compatibility issues.
I looped it several times, and the memory setup might be causing issues with the CPU.
