System fails to start following RAM upgrade.
There have been around 20 changes for my Strix-F since I purchased it in November 2020. Nice to be part of the testing group!
I checked my motherboard's three-prong jumper setup. I attempted to reset the CMOS by adjusting the jumper cap and taking out the battery, but nothing changed. Then I swapped in a fresh battery, still without any improvement.
It's difficult to understand this feedback, but it seems accurate. I would reinstall the older memory and reset the CMOS. Make sure the system remains functional. If it does, return the Yongxinsheng memory for a refund. Then allocate the money to purchase a compatible memory for your motherboard model.
I've already mentioned this before. The new RAM isn't compatible with what I have right now. Edit: Uncertain if this matters, but here are some pictures for reference. 20220713_212346.jpg.url 20220713_212336.jpg.url
We discussed sending it back and allocating the funds for a compatible RAM module. That solution seems to address the main concerns, especially since a replacement motherboard isn’t necessary right now. I’m not sure if locating those small speakers would be worthwhile given the situation.
