I recently purchased an Ipason gaming desktop and added DDR3 2x8GB RAM. After installing the new memory, the system wouldn't start, so I removed it and reinstalled the old RAM. Still, the computer failed to boot. I verified the installation was correct but noticed no clear problems. Additionally, my monitor doesn’t receive power when the PC turns on, preventing access to the BIOS. As a beginner in PC building, I’m trying to resolve this issue. LINKS: The desktop, The new RAM

Locate the pins marked BIOS or comparable, then press them. Alternatively, take out the button cell battery and keep the power button pressed while disconnecting the power cable from the wall.

Brand: Yongxinsheng Unknown to me. Either it's out of stock or the board opposes it (support it). Revert to the old working memory, clean CMOS before posting.

Turn off the power supply, remove the battery, and discharge the board by pressing the power button. Allow a moment or two, then reinsert the battery. Reconnect the PSU and start it up, praying for a good result.

Initiate another restart. Resetting the CMOS restores the BIOS to its original configuration. During the DDR3 era, RAM occasionally required a CMOS reset during upgrades.
