System fails to start following a power loss.
This situation has occurred three times before. Our location experiences frequent short power interruptions—recently it happened and now the computer won’t power on or lights are off. When we take it to a repair shop, everything functions properly and it boots normally. I’m uncertain about the cause because the power outlets work well, we have a surge protector, and an ups with a gold-rated PSU is installed. Last time this exact issue arose, it seemed to be related to the motherboard, and we had already used its warranty. My device is a Ryzen 3 3200G, 16GB DDR4, Gtx 1650, Windows 10 64-bit, Cougar GSX 650W.
Sure, I can attempt to connect the computer to another room.
The issue isn't with the motherboard; it's about your local power supply. Install a UPS and connect your PC to it, using a reliable one to safeguard against interruptions.
Our system is still being set up and looks good so far. What could be stopping the computer from starting? No worries, I’m here to help!
It isn't UPS if it fails to operate through an alternate outlet on another circuit without the UPS.
