The system starts up if you manually adjust the overclocking. If it boots normally at default speeds, it might still function, though performance could be limited. Adjusting BIOS settings like PBO and resizable bar can help, but compatibility depends on the motherboard and CPU match.

It should work as intended. The default settings have vcore enabled by default.

Are you referring to the CPU voltage value DVID? Even though it auto-adjusts, it seems to vary—Bios shows around +0.174V while tools like HWINFO64 and Ryzen Master report 1.248V or higher.

Yea whatever it is called, I am used to LGA 775 motherboards. Yea, most likely it reports the wrong number in HWINFO. Or there is something wrong with the power delivery.

The cost in FPS depends on your GPU's capabilities and how much it can boost performance. A jump from 4.3 GHz to 4.6 GHz typically offers noticeable gains, but the exact FPS increase varies by model. If you're targeting around 300 MHz, expect a significant improvement unless the CPU is already very high-end. Higher frequencies generally mean better performance up to a point.

It seems your earlier attempts to boost performance might have damaged the CPU, leaving it reliant on higher settings or increased voltage. Hopefully it’s holding up until further wear occurs.
