Hello, I've recently installed my new PC and sometimes it freezes during startup. I only notice a static white circle that doesn't move and looks bigger or smaller than the usual one you see when it starts (refer to the photos you shared). If I wait about a minute, it usually boots again but gets stuck the same way. Restarting the PC works fine. While it's running, there are no problems at all. My BIOS, GPU drivers, and Windows are all up to date.

Specifications: OS – Windows 11 64 Bit; CPU – i7-13700KF; GPU – XFX AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT 20GB RAM (CMK32GX5M2D6000C36, 2x16GB); PSU – Corsair RM850x (850W); Mainboard – Gigabyte B760 AORUS ELITE AX; BIOS version – F6, 15.09.2023.

In the logs, I see an ACPI 2 error with ID 56, and it also appears when the PC boots normally. I don’t know where to begin troubleshooting. Thanks for any advice.

What type of SSD do you have or is it faulty? Is it correctly installed? Then I’d verify whether your Windows setup is intact to rule out corruption. Several methods exist for this, but the most reliable approach is performing a clean installation. If backing up data isn’t an option, use Windows Recovery Repair for fixes. There’s also a reset option that preserves files and programs—just ensure you have a backup before proceeding.

I use a Samsung SSD 980 PRO 1TB as my main system drive, along with a Samsung SSD 850 EVO 250GB, two additional drives (Seagate ST31000524AS 1TB and WDC WD20EZRZ-00Z5HB0 2TB) and a Samsung 970 EVO Plus 500GB. All devices appear to function correctly. My plan is to test the reset option that preserves data first.

It seems the previous attempt to reinstall Windows failed. Consider exploring alternative solutions or support options.
