System fails to publish after RAM upgrade.
About a week back my computer slowed down noticeably, and reinstalling Windows didn’t help. After getting a new upgrade—Corsair Vengeance Pro RAM, a 500GB SSD, and a 4TB HDD—I switched to an SSD but faced issues. When I installed the new parts today after creating a bootable drive, it wouldn’t start. I changed RAM slots, unplugged drives individually, and swapped cables, just to test what would happen if I kept using the old HDD and RAM. It still wouldn’t boot. I’m unsure what to do next, any advice would be appreciated.
It seems there may be a problem with both the RAM and CPU not being detected. Have you checked the troubleshooting guide in your MB's User Manual? It should explain what each LED indicates. I understand you're at work and can't access the manual on the MSI Support site.
Sure, I have eight more hours left today. (It's a 12-hour day!) I’d like you not to need a complete upgrade. But if you’re willing and able, why not? Look for someone in your family who might benefit from the older system and pass it along.
yeah, that's what I'm thinking about doing is probably just building a whole new system. I can afford it in about a month's time and have it built by the time cyberpunk comes out. My hopes is to give my graphics card to a friend of mine and possibly donate the PC to PC parts place near me or give it to a friend of mine
