Setting up a new PC this Christmas was a challenge. Everything came together, but I couldn’t boot the system. The DRAM indicator lit right away. After connecting my motherboard speaker, it emitted a code indicating a RAM issue. I sent the RAM back to the manufacturer and received two Corsair Vengeance sticks. I installed them today and the light turned on instantly, along with the speaker beeping. I’ve tried all possible solutions and still nothing works. Could it be the motherboard or the CPU? Perhaps the memory controller is the problem? I have a 7700x and an Asus TUF B650-plus.

Fans power on, RGB works, CPU gets hot, AIO works. Pretty much everything on the motherboard works, so I don't see how it COULD be a dead mobo.

It isn't posting properly. The connections might be damaged, or perhaps your CPU wasn't seated correctly—it could be due to poor mounting or uneven tightening on the cooler.

Replaced several times. No cooler on the CPU for testing, but it doesn’t affect performance.

It seems like the device is likely stuck in a Do Not Attack mode. When you power it on, it doesn't display any screen but instead continues spinning and emits RAM beeps.

The device starts with a single beep. If left idle, it simply spins. I might reattach the cooler later to test booting and memory performance. It seems like it will take some time before I can operate it properly. I wonder why it’s called a doa motherboard. It has RGB lighting, fans, and front I/O ports—this doesn’t seem logical.

Motherboards consist of multiple small components that must function together. I believe your RAM is placed correctly in the appropriate slots.

I only kept this in mind once. Connecting my keyboard and mouse doesn’t cause any lights to turn on. Might indicate a faulty motherboard?
