System fails to power on.

Hello everyone, I recently upgraded my motherboard to an ASUS ROG STRIX B550-F, installed a Ryzen 9 5900X and a Corsair RM850x power supply. Everything is connected properly, including the case wiring and RAM. The motherboard powers on with the RGB active, but when I press the power button, the CPU fan barely turns and the RGB stops working except for the motherboard itself. Can anyone assist me? Thanks ahead!

Check if the EZ Debug LED is showing a signal. It might help diagnose the issue.

The Asus ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING ATX AM4 board works with the AMD Ryzen 9 5900X at 3.7 GHz and 12 cores. The BIOS should be version 1004 or newer to support this processor. If your BIOS is outdated, you'll need to upgrade it for compatibility.

You can proceed by using your older CPU until you're able to update the BIOS.

You can place your old CPU on the motherboard, though this isn't necessary for your ASUS board. Before beginning, check your motherboard BIOS version via its settings. Share the version you're using and I'll tell you if an update is needed. On the back of your motherboard, locate a USB port labeled with BIOS text. Use a clean USB drive and follow the instructions in the ASUS YouTube video to update your BIOS. You can download the latest version from this site—version 2806 is recommended.
